Dr. Muhammad Saad Memon is a Lecturer in Supply Chain Operations and Management at Atlantic Technological University, Ireland. He has expertise in resilient and sustainable supply chain management, uncertain and fuzzy production planning, and multi-criteria decision-making. He completed his PhD in Industrial and Management Engineering at Hanyang University, South Korea, where he received the Best Dissertation Award for his research. Dr. Saad began his career in 2010 as a Lecturer in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan. He has served as Chairman of the Pakistan Society of Industrial Engineers (PSIE) and as the founding president of the Pakistan Chapter of the Institute of Industrial Engineering and Operation Management (IEOM) Society, USA.
He has authored over 39 peer-reviewed journal articles, with more than 1,200 citations and an h-index of 15. His notable work has been published in leading international journals, including Expert Systems with Applications, Computers and Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, and the Journal of Advanced Transportation, among others. He has also contributed to Springer book chapters and has presented at various international conferences.
